Audition (No, I’m not talking about try-outs for the next high school musical). One of the five human senses has become so much more than just our sense of hearing. In tandem with sound, it has become a passageway from which we can all use to connect with each other at a much deeper level.
Music, one of the many facets of life, can course through this passageway and convey a message, feeling, thought, etc., to an audience. Whether we are alone, at a party, attending a festival, or even in our bedroom producing music, music is essentially an extension of who we are.
It’s no wonder why we get so upset when people don’t like our favorite band! We take it to heart.
