I Have a Sole

Ever since I was a kid, I have always been a fan of Adidas. I have never been able to  put into words, or rather pinpoint, why I actually love the brand so much, but does anyone really know why they love something so much?

Sure, I could sit here and list all the things I love about them, but in order to really figure out why I love them.. I would have to dig deep and search for answers.

A love for something, let alone anyone, develops not in one single moment, but a series of moments. In the case of Adidas, the reason I adore the company so much is because of how its developed since conception.

Their branding and overarching vision is so beautiful and multi-faceted. It’s not just a company, or even a brand, it’s a lifestyle.

Knowledge is Power (Only with Action)

I’ve spent so much of my life hating myself and nearly dying countless times because of it, yesterday I found my drive again and realized I’d really like to create something that could change the world or at least a be a part of it.

The “problem” with realizations is that for those first few moments, not only is your mind satisfied but your heart feels full and you’re excited… But after a few days, a few weeks, a few months, that feeling goes away and you become jaded and lose motivation again.

Change takes more than a motivation or drive, you have to have a willingness to actually want to change yourself and take action.

Albert Camus, one of the world’s most insightful philosophers, was attributed to stating this quote.

I still feel inspired from yesterday but I can feel it slowly dissipating and going back to a life filled with apathy that’s become so routine for me and so many others.

Humans are habitual & social creatures… Don’t let your sense of self ( consciousness ) allow you to forget that we are animals… We need connection w/ others so don’t be an asshole, treat others how you’d like to be treated. We must form habits to adopt a new way of life.

Personally I’m tired of feeling empty and feeling dead inside… I’ve lost my passion in life and I just go through the motions in my lifetime… It’s so boring and unsatisfying… It’s no wonder I used to spend so much time numbing myself w/ anything just to feel something.

I need to take action and DO something rather than allow myself to wallow and spend my days withering away.

Consciousness, awareness and overall organization are key to making changes.
